OVERVIEW
Anxiety is the most prevalent mental health condition in New Zealand, and the workplace is where it most often shows up. This workshop goes beyond awareness — it gives employees real understanding of what anxiety is, why it happens, and a practical toolkit to manage it day-to-day. Delivered with warmth and zero jargon.

WHY IT MATTERS
Anxiety costs New Zealand businesses millions annually through lost productivity, absenteeism, and presenteeism. Many employees are managing anxiety silently, without the tools or language to ask for help.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN
• Understand what anxiety is, how it manifests, and why it's so common
• Distinguish between helpful and unhelpful anxiety responses
• Apply evidence-based tools to interrupt the anxiety cycle
• Build habits that reduce anxiety over time
• Reduce stigma and increase willingness to seek support when needed
